Open English class 2017

We are pleased to show you pictures and videos of our special Open English class. After several weeks we were practicing the best way to sing and act in English, we chose a nice spring afternoon to share with our  relatives a special way to learn in English.
Every year, we like to celebrate that we enjoy learning in our English classes. We would like to leave here a beautiful memory of that nice afternoon.
We were grateful for your company and your applauses that encourage us to make it better the next year!

Relaxing time

In these pictures we can see preschoolers enjoying a relaxing time. In this lesson they learnt the name of the body parts with a very didactic activity. They only had to touch gently the part of the body that the English teacher told them, by this way they also learnt how to give a very relax massage.

What better way to spread the love on Valentine's Day than to invite your co-workers over for an afternoon snack!

Our Department held it's second annual" Merienda intercultural" after school on Tuesday, February 14 th.

Was it a success? Have a look for yourself.....

Drama provides students with the opportunity to bring language alive in a fun and entertaining way, as well as being an incredibly useful tool for language learning.
As soon as they start performing, students will be communicating with each other, but using the language of different characters.

Each play is accompanied by individual teaching notes to help them prepare for the next Open English Class performance.

We asked for volunteers to read parts of the text aloud, they practise moving around while remembering to speak loudly and clearly. We hope you will enjoy it.
Coming soon.....

Dress up

Over the last couple of weeks, our 2nd and 3rd of primary students have been studying a new topic: clothing. They´ve been playing various games in order to help them to learn and memorize these new words.

Students used the whiteboards to dress boys and girls following the instructions given. They also played a fun game of memory, where they had to match the words to the specified picture of clothing. They had a great time, all the while improving their English skills.

Thanks for visiting our language blog, and be sure to have a look at some of the pictures we have taken over the last few weeks.

On 6 May, Infantil and Primary students delighted families, classmates and teachers with performances in English. Children learn so much language through music. They had been rehearsing their songs the past couple of months and they were very excited to finally perform them for the audience.

Primary students sang songs from the well-known musical Mary Poppins, as well as a famous song with some very good vibes, "Happy".

Preschoolers sang songs about daily routines, and, as a grand finale, they joined together to sing the wonderful song "Tomorrow" from Annie.

Our Primary students were fantastic introducing our preschoolers and we thank you for that! And a big thanks to our language assistant Anthony, too!

Finally, we would like to say thank you to all the parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, cousins, babysitters, friends, etc, who came to watch the performances. We really hope you enjoyed them as much as we did!

Check out the videos for the performances below!
